Shiva Manas Puja

Shiva Manas Puja, written by Adi guru Shankaracharya is a very special hymn, which not only praises Shiva, but also depicts the true flavour of Shiva worship. Shiva needs devotion and not demonstration. In this stottram we offer to the great Lord various offering not in physical form but in mental form. We Start by offering bath, cloths, foods, devotion and finally offer ourselves to the Lord. The beauty lies in the fact that everything we offer, we offer in the portal of our mind and not physical. The compassionate Mahadev accepts all our offering and frees us from the consequences of our wrong doings, done knowingly or unknowingly.

  18. Your explanation is nice. The thing of beauty is that one must learn Sanskrit to understand the inner & real meaning explained by the Great Mahatmas like Adi Sankara and other Great people

  19. This is the proof to show that only Sri Adi Sankara alone can deliver to the millions of excuse seekingdevotees, the nectar of prayer needing no method—my salutes to the Adi Sankara.

  20. Dear Sri Ramchand excuse seeking devotee need no prayer and method doesn’t make someone devotee either. You should salute shankaracharya for his true genius. This prayer of His is for those truest devotees who no longer need any method to prove their devotion. Methods are means, not the end. Please don’t think prayers as excuse
